Daniel Bernstein is a seasoned entrepreneur and executive with a passion for transforming education. As the Founder and CEO of Sandlot Games, he built a market-leading company, raising $1.4M in funding and successfully exiting in 2011. With a background as an investment banker specializing in software companies, Daniel has led over 30 exits totaling more than $500M in transaction value, including multiple in EdTech. His passion for education was ignited while watching his three children struggle with learning challenges during COVID-19, coupled with the insights of his wife, a dedicated dance teacher. These personal experiences drive his mission to empower educators and students with Teachally.
Rushil Makkar, CTO
Rushil Makkar is an accomplished development leader and CTO at Teachally, with over four years of experience driving technical innovation in the company. A graduate in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Malaviya National Institute of Technology, Jaipur, where he ranked in the 0.6th percentile, Rushil specializes in front and back-end development, leveraging expertise in Flutter, Golang, web development, machine learning (OpenCV), and NLP. With experience across EdTech, HealthTech, and FinTech domains, he combines his technical prowess with a passion for creating scalable, impactful solutions. At Teachally, Rushil’s leadership ensures seamless product development, empowering educators and transforming the learning experience.
